The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program is for students from grades 7 or higher. There is an application process to join those teams, as there is limited availability for team members. The FIRST Tech Challenge season typically begins with a kickoff event in September, where the new game is revealed, and it runs through various local qualifiers, regional championships, and culminates in the FIRST Championship.
Our middle school team applications closed on August 20th and we unfortunately do not have any seats open at this time. We encourage you to continue developing STEM and robotics skills through other avenues (such as school teams, STEM lab, etc.), and welcome your application next year. Applications open mid-July.
